This and Opies death scene are the only scenes in the entire 7 seasons that i cant force myself to watch again i skip the scenes..

I was about to stop watching this show when Opie died. That's when I knew Jax story was not going to be a happy ending

When Opie died thats when Jax's humanity died cuz after that Jax was ruthless in everything he did with no remorse

i’ve never got over opie’s death. i found this show when my bestfriend passed away at 18 years old. my coworker who introduced me to the show asked me why i was so depressed one day. i said i’m just mourning opie. i think he knew i was mourning my buddy as well tho. i never got to say goodbye. i just watched him spiral. but i’ll see you later brother. i hope when i die you teach me how to fly 🕊️

This scene is beautiful and so greatly and perfectly done. The actors did amazing, the song was amazing and the send off was amazing. You can feel so much at the end when you see Jax face shutting the door. It broke my heart when Opie died but this was the most amazing send off.

I think what hurt Jax even more about opie’s death is that it was to suppose to be Jax in that box he was gonna sacrifice himself and opie saved him even though he deserved more than anyone a long happy life.
